Main Outputs and Responsibilities 1. Identify and Manage Risk - Perform root cause analyses on reported risk events to recommend controls to be improved or implemented - Assist business with the identification of key risk indicators in their business units and embedding the reporting of key risk indicators in the business process - Monitor the implementation of action plans to address amber and red risk indicators reported monthly to Risk Management - Analyze identified trends in the key risk indicators reported to Risk Management and reporting these trends to the risk owners - Assist business during risk workshops with the identification of key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, as well as action plans to address any gaps in the mitigating measures identified - Monitor the implementation of action plans to address amber and red key risks on the risk and control self-assessments/risk registers - Assist business with the identification of the type of combined assurance required 2. Compile Reports - Assisting the Senior Manager: Risk in preparing reports for the various committee meetings - Assist business with risk reporting to various committees - Assist with the organization of meetings for risk management as well as taking minutes of the meeting. - Compile minuets of committee meetings 3. Assist with Combined Assurance Implementation - Assist with maturing combined assurance framework implementation - Assist with meeting / forum organisation and minute taking of the meeting. 4. BCM implementation - Assist business with review of BIA’s. - Assist with maturing BIA’s. - Assist with BCP testing. - Assist with reporting to BCM committee.
